Choosing Option B

I got a question from a prospect last night about Option A vs. Option B with the 1 Step System...

The system is built to sell option A for obvious reasons, but this women asked if it was possible to still be successful if she chose option B...

That's actually a good question, one to which I can't offer a definite answer, so instead I gave my opinion...

I view option B as a complete waste of money, at first glance it looks like you're saving tons of money because you opt not to purchase the Ultimate Marketers Toolbox which is the majority of the $597 cost. But what happens is you end up spending a lot more in fees to get started and the real kick to the groin is you are required to make 4 training sales (instead of 2) to become a Qualified Associate.

So essentially you lose out on an extra $1,000 (plus added fees) because you didn't want to spend $500 on the Toolbox package, which is how everyone makes money in the first place.

It's no real skin off your sponsors back though, yes they lose out on the $500 from the customer directly... but then they bank $2,000 off that same customer in referred training sales.

Actually, assuming your customers are able to make all their training sales, as a QA, you'd make a lot more money by having your direct customers chose option B.

It was a good question... and the answer actually is yes, you can still be successful with option B, it will just take you longer to start making your own sales.

I created a quick resources page the other day... but I started thinking about what I was going through after I called in on the teleseminar and heard about the 1 Step System home business opportunity.

I was extremely interested... but I had questions, luckily getting my questions answered was as easy as just contacting my sponsor... he was very helpful and answered all my questions as best he could.

I of course offer the same assistance to my prospects, but I decided to take it one step further and create a Frequently Asked Questions web page for my prospects to utilize... I basically just tried to remember all the questions I had before I signed up... and answer them.

Offline Marketing Tool Added

Yesterday The 1 Step System team released a new postcard creatives as well as new drop cards for use in offline marketing efforts. In addition to the new creatives Rod and Chris also added a toll-free 800 number for you to advertise with your newspaper ads, post cards or drop cards.

I actually called the number to see what Rod had done with it... it, as usual, does the work for you. Rod has setup a pre-recorded message that does an amazing job of getting your prospect to register for the teleseminar, which is infact the only step that's is required of you.

This is just another example of the 1 Step System doing all the work for you. I personally have never done offline advertising, but having an 800 number to direct prospects to, certainly puts me that much closer to giving it a shot.

The Fortune is in the Follow-up

I know the 1 Step System is advertised as just that... a 1 Step System for generating income. But I believe it's a 2 step system.

Yes it's entirely possible to make sales by successfully executing the 1 step that is asked of you, which is simply drive traffic to the live teleseminar signup. In fact the first two sales I made (my training sales which went to my sponsor) were made without me or my sponsor ever having to talk with the customer.

But I firmly believe you are leaving money on the table if you don't follow up with your prospects, prospects being those who signup to hear the teleseminar.

In the back office, you are given an amazing tracking system and database which is all automatically updated... all you web hits are recorded down to the intricate details and so are the details of your prospects.

Your prospects are yours... and you can and SHOULD follow-up with them via email as often as possible until they ask you to stop. If you're not taking advantage of this, you literally are losing thousands in potential sales.

Just this week, in following up with my prospects I made 3 new contacts with potential customers who are now talking with me directly about the system and are that much closer to buying. And that's the name of the game folks... driving sales and making money. These 3 people that called me were very interested in the 1 Step System, but had questions and didn't know who to ask... by contacting them and offering to have them call me with their questions, I now have a potential $1500 coming my way (+$3000 more on their first two training sales).

So yes, it can be a 1 Step System, but if you make it a 2 step system... you'll likely double or even tripple your success with the program.

Invest In Yourself First

There was a comment on one of yesterday's posts from a person who asked if it was hard to market the 1 Step System Opportunity because it costs $597 to become involved in it.

That is certainly a valid question to ask and the simple answer is No... in fact in a way the $597 price tag can help to market this opportunity.

Let's take a look at this more closely. Yes for many $597 is a lot of money... it certainly was for me, in fact at the time I signed up and parted with my money, I was completely broke, no job, no income and mounting bills pilling up each month. I had two maxed out credit accounts and literally had no way of paying anybody $597.

But I made it possible anyways... I believe it's important to invest in my own success before I invest or pay off any one else, that's just a philosophy I try to practice. And in this case, I really wanted in on this opportunity. So I made a few moves and managed to come up with the start-up cost for this program... and I am very glad I did.

Really any REAL, LEGAL and LEGITIMATE business requires money to get started, most often that is in the form of start-up capital... this business opportunity is no different. The whole system is built around the price tag, it serves as the start-up cost and as the means to make you money as well.

In terms of the start-up cost amount relative to the potential income... $597 is an absolute steal... the system Rod and Chris have built is likely worth hundreds of thousands of dollars maybe even millions once all is said and done (they keep adding to it every week)...

One sale can basically make your initial investment back... It's only been 2.5 weeks and I've already made 5/6's of my investment back... many business's can take years until it turns profitable.

So, I really wanted to try and put that $597 into perspective here... yeah it's a decent chunk-o-change, but for what you get it's borderline illegal to charge so little.

And the people that should be investing in this opportunity, should be the same ones who can realize that as the truth. Which is why the price tag for the right person can actually help sell this system.

Best New Home Business Opportunity for 2006?

Well what the hell is the 1 Step System? Where did it come from?

The 1 Step System is a network marketing/New MLM business model created by Top Network Marketing "guru" Rod Stinson and his partner Chris Kohl. The 1 Step System was pre-launched in January 2006 and officially launched the 2-up compensation plan in February 2006. So this is a BRAND-NEW opportunity and is making a pretty significant splash in the online marketing/home business world.

About 2.5 weeks ago I was surfin around online and came across a web banner that caught my eye... which hadn't happened in literally years... up till then, web banners where completely invisible to me.

It claimed you could make $500 a day! YEAH RIGHT! (I thought)... but I'm a income op junky, I'll read about anything.

The sales page I landed on was in many ways the same ole' song and story... make tons of money with only 1 step. It was a clear sales pitch complete with an audio message, letter style sales page, plenty of testimonials and the ever popular time sensitive offer... which all led to a signup form for a 40 minute live teleseminar that night.

Normally I would have hit my back button before I could even scroll down below the fold... but something grabbed my interest.

It made a claim to pay $500 per sale!... I've been trying online ops for 3 years, mainly doing affiliate marketing on Google Adwords, with far more failures than successes. What was the problem? Profit margins... the cost of advertising in most cases equaled or simply outweighed the revenues from commissions.

I've never made more than $50 on a comissioned sale. The idea of making $500 for one sale REALLY strung a cord with my potential meter!

So I got in on the call... The first thing I was impressed with once I realized it, was the fact that Rod Stinson (Co-Creator of the 1 Step System) is doing these teleseminars LIVE EVERY WEEK NIGHT! To do a live teleseminar every single night instantly showed me that these guys and this system weren't kidding around.

The content of the seminar itself, though very fast moving... was also impressive, Rod is a VERY good speaker and saleman... It was obvious Rod was a good salesman... he successfully portrayed the potential of the program using emotional stories to entice my biz-op addiction... and it was working.

By the end of the teleseminar I was 99% convinced this was an AMAZING and REAL opportunity with monsterous income potential.

But I was still scared. $597 is a lot of money to me at the current moment. I read and re-read all the testimonials, I watched the compensation plan video atleast 7 times... finally I just made the leap and went for it.

Immediately upon signing up... It became VERY apparent that this was real... Rod and Chris had put an un-imaginable amount of work into this program... the back office is an internet marvel that is no less high-tech and professionally done than if had been created by IBM, Microsoft or Google themselves.

And the system really does work... Within 8 days I had already made my first 2 sales which went to the person who signed me up. In less than one more week, I've already made my initial investment back.

Now these are pathetic numbers compared to many others involved with the system. The top earner in Feb had 94 sales * $500 = $47,500 in one month! Same guy did 75 more sales in March... those are numbers I can only dream about at this point. But cleary are entirely possible to reach!

So is this program real?
A. YES Absolutely

Is it worth the inital investment?
A. IMHO, Yes absolutely

Is it really as easy as it sounds?
A. Probably not as easy as it "sounds", things never are, but the sales system definitely makes it IMENSLEY easier than if you had to create your own sales system.

Does this program have real income potential?
A. YES! really the potential is almost unimaginable.

Is it the best new home business opportunity for 2006?
A. I think so... why don't you be the judge...

The Missing Truth About The 1 Step System

Well This is the first post for the 1 Step System Blog... so I thought I'd just explain briefly what I intend to do with this blog...

A few weeks ago I became involved with the 1 Step System, which is a brand new network marketing/home business opportunity just launched this year. So there's A LOT to talk about and A LOT to learn.

I intend to take you through my experience with the system, give tips, give resources and insight into what this business is and how to succeed with it.

I am by no means a marketing genius, I do have some experience with ppc advertising and am very involved in the world of home business opportunities.

One of my biggest complaints about this market is the lack of truth or honesty exhibited by many of the marketers, salespeople, companies, guru's, etc...

I've always believed the core of any successful company is in it's integrity. Kind of like Karma... I believe what you put out is what you get back. If you honestly go out and help people, give them something of true value and treat others like you wish to be treated... you can't lose. Go out and try to trick people with outrageous claims and misleading information... you are guaranteed to crash and burn.

So I'm going to use the blog to give you the truth about the 1 Step System... the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Fair enough?
