--Set aside a specific time each week for new account prospecting (commercial / retail / personal retail sales). Whether you spend one hour each week or two hours each day, routine is the key to good prospecting habits … and successful new account prospecting results.
--Give prospecting for PC’s and new Dealers one of your highest priority. It is the single most important activity in building a successful AMSOIL MLM business.
--Call hard-to-get prospects at 7 a.m. They will almost always be home. Think about it.You cannot expect your Personal Group members to do reasonably well what you cannot do extremely well. Start today to become an expert at selling, marketing and coaching your team and watch your PG results … & your income… automatically improve.
--Always own the latest technology to run your AMSOIL business. Have you noticed … leaders always seem to be the first to embrace owning their own fax machine, cell phone, computer, laptop, and Blackberry.
--The most important skill in MLM is to master is a good business presentation. It will take you about two hours a day for three months to learn a good presentation from start to finish.
--Learn to be a good speaker. You'll get to make multiple sales with a single presentation.
--To accelerate your ability to recruit … spend time watching someone who is successful at recruiting new Dealers (think upline Sponsor or DJ). Talk with them … go with them … observe what they say when prospecting for new accounts or Dealers – and pay very close attention to what they do … and do NOT present.
--Take responsibility for your missed presentations. Never blame prospects. Either they were never qualified to begin with, and should not have been given a presentation, or you didn't give a very compelling presentation. At the end of each missed presentation, ask yourself what you did wrong and make the appropriate adjustment.
--To compete with and keep your competition out of your retail and commercial accounts … offer personalized and customized coaching on AMSOIL products, their applications, and benefits. Your account will get better results, you'll get more orders and you'll build better relationships that will lead to increased sales.

Anything you can do to increase your ability to gain new customers, keep new customers and expand business is a good thing.
