No, No, No, No, No, No, Sure, Why Not?
In so many areas of our lives, we dread the word "no."
Jack Canfield makes an excellent point. You didn't have anything before you asked. If you get a "no," you still don't have anything, but your life hasn't changed at all. It didn't get worse. It just didn't change in the way you wanted.
Do you know who knows this better than you? The kid at the fast food drive thru.
"Chicken sandwich please."
"Would you like to make it a combo?" "No."
"Would you like fries with that?" "No."
"How about dessert today?" "No."
"Biggie size?" "No. No. No."
"I think I'm gonna quit."
Remember you are actually better off after a "no." Every "no" gets you closer to a yes.
