Small Business, Big Business

The network marketing business model gives the average person the opportunity to have all the advantages of big business.

Not small business, big business.

If you have a small business, you have a job. You might be your own boss, but you still have a job. I've been there, I know. You do all the work, you have to be there all the time.

The key to big business success, is to formulate a business model that makes money, then duplicate it!

Picture your buddy, Jim Bob, opening up a restaurant. He will be there all the time. No one wants his employees to cook their hushpuppies or biscuits, they want Jim Bob to make them. He will work like a dog for a couple of years, then go out of business. It happens all the time.

Now, picture Truett Cathy, Dave Thomas, or Ray Kroc. They opened restaurants, developed a successful plan, and sold the opportunity to others. They did not cook every burger or chicken sandwich in every restaurant. They sold the opportunity to cook burgers to others, and then took a small percent of the profits, for the work they did developing the opportunity.

This duplication is the beauty of the network marketing opportunity.

Yes, you sell exceptional health and beauty products, and you make a little money at the point of sale. But more importantly, when these lovers of your product join your team, you earn residual income on everything they purchase thereafter.

And beyond that, you show others how to build a network of loyal customers so that they can earn a residual income. You give people who want it, a chance to own their life. An opportunity to earn an incredible income.

Trading hours for dollars is the worst way to make money. Building a business that allows you to earn money long after the initial work is done; that is a much smarter way to make money.

Let us tell you more about our business opportunity.

Joe

Belief. What You Think About, You Bring About

Your life is not the result of the things you have done. It is the result of the things you have thought about. You can't act without first thinking.

The things you have done in life started out as thoughts. Self talk, visualization, meditation, positive mental attitude: these have all gotten a bad rap in recent years. The "name it and claim it" preachers have been vilified, but the truth is, you cannot act without first thinking. If you want something, you have to think about it first.

And you can't become something that is opposed to what you believe. Think about it. If you want to be a good person, but you think rich people are evil, you will never be rich. It does not line up with what you think is right.

If you don't believe in your products or company, you will never be successful promoting them. If you have doubts about the network marketing business model, you will not be successful in network marketing.

But most importantly, if you don't believe in yourself, you will never be successful. To move forward in your business and life you have to have self-confidence. You have to step outside your comfort zone. And the walls of your comfort zone are lined with fear. If you are considering building a network marketing business you need to understand the genius of the business model. Then find a company and products that you are passionate about. After that it is all up to you. Only a small percentage of Americans will pursue a network marketing career, and only a small percentage of them will become financially free.

With the right company, you will have a company and products you can believe in. You will have a compensation plan that will make you believe in the network marketing business model. That will leave you with one area to work on. Belief in yourself. You have to believe in yourself. Once you get to that point, the sky is the limit.

If you have goals and dreams, let us show you how our business can be the vehicle to take you where you want to go.

What Do You Think?

Most people would agree that what happens to us is a result of our actions. But it goes deeper that that. Our actions are actually a result of our thoughts.

We are what we think about most of the time. You cannot take an action unless you think about it first. Also, you cannot become something that goes against your beliefs. Psychologists call this cognitive dissonance.

If you have negative thoughts about network marketing, you will not be successful in network marketing. If you have negative thoughts about the wealthy, you will never be wealthy.

Think about it. If you want to be a good person, and you believe the wealthy are arrogant, greedy and rude, you will never be able to become wealthy, because in your mind they are not good people.

To become successful, you have to think successful thoughts. It's harder than it sounds, but it can be done.

Who Are You, And Why Are You Here?

On April 26th I wrote my goals for this blog. In the 48 hours since I added the Andale counter to this page, I have had 75 different individual hits with 12 going to the web site.

So here is my question. "You know what I want, what do you want?"

Or, put another way, "Who are you?  Consultants?  Skeptics? Other MLM reps? Let me know. I don't want to do this just for me.

I'm looking for feedback.

Joe

Who Can Make It In Network Marketing?

Who can make it in network marketing?

The short answer? Anybody.

The reality? Most people won't.

The entire network marketing/MLM business model can be summed up in three words:

     Use, Recommend, Duplicate.

It's that simple. The problem is that it is not easy. We find reasons to not talk to someone, we take it personal when someone says, "No." We would rather stay where we are and complain than get up and do something.

So people will try it for a short time and then blame the business model or the company or their upline.

Step number one for success in network marketing (and life itself) is take responsibility for your actions. Everything you do begins as a thought in your head.

Henry Ford said, "If you think you can do a thing or think you can't do a thing, you're right."

I think you can make it in network marketing. What do you think?

Joe

A Little Background

My name is Joe Paskiewicz  (pronounced Pass-kay'-vitch). I'm an independent consultant with an award winning company. My wife Linda is my sponsor and upline manager. She is in the second management level in the company.

Our network marketing journey went like this. Sometime around 1984, I was approached by someone about a business opportunity that ended up being a network marketing company. I was put off by the way the whole thing took place. The guy was very secretive about the company and the experience left me with negative feelings about network marketing for a long time.

About 30 years later someone sat me down and explained network marketing, and I finally understood how and why it worked. We signed up, but never were able to make it work. We now had belief in the business model, but had no belief in the company or the products.

About that same time, Linda was introduced to some amazing products at her doctor's office. She talks about this a little on her website. When we realized that the company who made the products was a network marketing company, like the one we had just signed up with, we knew that this was the company we needed to work with. We had belief in the products, the company and the business.

We know that there are thousands of network marketing companies out there and every one of them has people who are hugely successful. We believe ours is one of the best out there and we welcome you to contact us about becoming a member of our team.

You Gotta Believe

If you are going to be successful in network marketing you will need a strong belief in:

  1. Your products. This is easy. You are introduced to these great products and you start telling everyone about them.
  2. Your company. This is easy too. How can you not love a company that makes such quality products.
  3. Your business. This is where it starts to fall apart for most people. Many have bad feelings about Network Marketing because of bad past experiences or just plain ignorance. Either way, you cannot be successful promoting a business model that you don't believe in.
  4. Yourself. This fourth belief is why only five percent of the population pursue network marketing, and why only five percent of those ever make the really big money. People start losing it with their lack of belief in network marketing, but they really fall apart with their lack of belief in themselves.

Think about it. We believe that what happens to us is a result of the choices we've made, and that is true, but every action we take begins with a thought.

If you believe you can do something, and no one else believes you can, you can do it.

If everyone believes you can do it, but you don't, you won't be able to do it.

Over the next few days I'm going to talk about why network marketing is the best way for the average person to build a fortune. In the meantime, you need to start telling yourself that you can do this. You can be hugely successful at network marketing. You gotta believe.

The Incredible Opportunity

My goal for this blog is threefold. To educate about the incredible opportunity for wealth that network marketing offers. To educate about the incredible opportunity that Arbonne International offers within the network marketing industry. To recruit business partners for my Arbonne team once they understand the incredible opportunity that is available to them.

To accomplish these goals I will need to move beyond general news and information about Arbonne. I have learned that the best way to get what I want is to help others get what they want.

Let the serious blogging begin.

Joe

Why, Why, Why?

The theme for the Arbonne 2007 National Training Celebration is "A Million Reasons Why."

If you are going to be successful at network marketing, or at anything else, you must have a reason "why." Your "why" has to be big enough to get you off the couch and do the things that need to be done. It can be anything. Money to get your kids through school. Money to take care of elderly parents. The flexibilty to travel whenever you want. The desire to stay home with your kids.

There are a million reasons why people are doing business with Arbonne. There are also a million reasons to just stay in your comfort zone. But the truth is, it is almost impossible to be a success when your goal is to be comfortable.

Achievement requires that you move forward, beyond what you've done in the past. outside your comfort zone. Once you define your "why," your reason for wanting to succeed, then you can pursue all the things that are available to you in network marketing. At that point I can show you why Arbonne is the vehicle to help you reach those goals.

Why Arbonne, Why Now?

The Baby Boomers (born between 1946 and 1964) control most of the money that is spent in this country, and they don't want to get old. And they don't want to look or feel old either. Arbonne products include anti-aging skin care, weight management, nutrition and more. Everything the Boomers are looking for, Arbonne has.

Arbonne is a 26 year old company that is experiencing the growth of a new startup. Arbonne will move from $25 million to $1 billion in yearly sales faster than Microsoft did. Arbonne is quickly becoming one of the largest network marketing companies, and almost no one has heard of them! This fact makes Arbonne an incredible opportunity for you right now.

Many of the older, established network marketing companies have gone international, because they have reached the saturation point in the US. For Arbonne consultants, there is still plenty of room for building a team. The time to start your Arbonne business is now.

I would love to talk to you about Arbonne, to see if it is right for you. Contact me at joepaskiewicz@gmail.com

The Arbonne Difference

Since 1980 Arbonne has been producing the finest skin care products available. In recent years, Arbonne has expanded its product line to include Anti-aging skin care, weight management products, aromatherapy, and makeup, using the finest pharmaceutical grade ingredients.

If you check out the home shopping channels and department store cosmetics departments, you will see that Arbonne was truly on the cutting edge with its RE9 anti-aging skin care. Everybody is jumping on the anti-aging bandwagon, but it is important for you to check the product labels.

Arbonne uses standardized botanicals and herbs. And most importantly, no mineral oil.

Here is your homework assignment. Check the labels on your makeup, skin care, hand lotion, lip balm, etc.  Look for the words mineral oil and petrolatum. If you find these ingredients in your products, look them up on line. See what OSHA has to say about mineral oil.

Why do most cosmetic companies use mineral oil as their base ingredient? It is a cheap byproduct of the petroleum industry.

Pure, Safe, Beneficial. That is the Arbonne motto. That is the Arbonne difference.

Arbonne Mom Finds Success

Lisa Fields said her home-based business idea came to her at an opportune time.

Fields has been an independent consultant with skin care and beauty product company Arbonne International since April 2005, and the new mother and wife said she is enjoying making money, while having hours on hand to spend meaningful time with husband Casey and daughter Sophia.

"The fact that I get to stay home with my child is the greatest," she said.

Prior to starting her home based business, Fields spent 12 years working as a district manager for a retail chain. But the business was being sold to a big corporation, and Fields began to anticipate other business venues.

"I had a job making $50,000 a year, and I thought what am I going to do," she said, "then along came Arbonne."

Fields' cousin had invited her to an Arbonne presentation. Fields said she was uninterested and reluctant about going, but for her cousin's sake she went. The presentation, and flipping through the Arbonne pamphlets and magazines, sparked a great desire for Fields to try the products.

After two months of trying the products and researching the company, she was impressed and ready to start her home-based business under Arbonne International - a move that did not cost her close to what it would have to start some other business, she said. She paid $29 to buy all the products at a discounted price of 35 percent off.

Fields has done so well in marketing Arbonne products that she has earned the title of Independent Consultant, Regional Vice President, which is a sure sign that her sales are high and she is getting others to market Arbonne products. An independent consultant at this level makes over $6,700 a month. In addition, Fields has earned a Mercedes Benz, which she said is a great marketing tool.

Sue Hickman, 49, of Berryville is an enthusiastic advocate of a company she found in 2001: Arbonne International. Around that time, Hickman was in poor health, and researching natural alternatives to the therapy she was using. Arbonne Moms Mean Business

A group of local moms have the same idea. Four area MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) groups are hosting a holiday shopping expo in Neenah on Dec. 7. Mothers with home-based businesses will be selling arts and crafts, jewelry, cosmetics, health and wellness products, kitchen goods, designer bags, just to name a few. Proceeds from the cover charge will support the MOPS groups.

"I know so many moms with home-based businesses and I wanted to create a fund-raising opportunity for MOPS," said Kelly Burkert of Appleton, a local MOPS coordinator and a district manager with Arbonne International. "We are all in the same boat, it's a win-win for everyone and we just want to support one another."

Standing at the end of a long line of skin creams and body washes, she explained how the all-natural ingredients helped with making aging skin look younger.

Arbonne Automates Distribution Center

According to manufacturing journalist Thomas R. Cutler in a recent issue of Automation.com, "Network marketing is a distribution system, or form of marketing, which channels goods or services from the manufacturer to the consumer through a "network" of independent distributors or consultants. It is an effective system that cuts out the "middleman" found in most industries. This is the distribution/marketing system used by Arbonne International, a manufacturer of botanical skin care products developed in Switzerland in 1975, by Petter Mørck, together with a group of leading bio-chemists, biologists and herbalists."
