Bioperformance Gas Pill Shut Down by Texas AG
Big trouble for the company that touted itself as the fastest growing Network Marketing company...
Attorney General of Texas, Greg Abbott:
Abbott Shuts Down Dallas-based Bioperformance For Peddling Fake Fuel Pills In Pyramid Scheme
Claims of increased gas mileage to save consumers money called bogus
AUSTIN - Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott today filed a lawsuit and obtained a temporary restraining order and asset freeze against Texas-based BioPerformance Inc. The company, organized as an illegal pyramid scheme, markets a fuel pill it falsely claims will boost gas mileage and save consumers money.
BioPerformance Inc., president and owner Lowell Mims and co-owner Gustavo Romero of Irving advertise nationally via the Internet and through seminars around Texas and other states, exploiting the climate of today’s high fuel prices. The company’s ads claim the gasoline pills and powders they offer have a non-toxic “top secret gas pill” that can increase fuel efficiency by 30 percent or more and cut harmful emissions by up to 50 percent. In fact, the additive is basically the chemical equivalent of mothballs, which are toxic.
More from the Texas Attorney General.

bio performance is not the only ones that are taking advantage of people.there are several others also.powerplus mpg is another one that is using the same principal as the others.they have even came out with a liquid to try and avoid the stigma of the pill.it is strange to me that all of these companys started these products with gas prices so high.

Why are you all taking this lying down? Where is the outrage? How do we start a class action suit?
OK, the deal is that AT LEAST Lowell Mims has been in trouble with states' Attorneys General before, and basically skated out with his money before the scam was discovered and the illegal MLM was closed down.
This is the situation/scenario I believe the Texas AG is trying to prove. That is, Mims and Romero planned to drain the company of most of its millions just before the pills were shown to be worthless, and the company forced to close down. (It will truly be the height of irony if they get thrown in prison because they overlooked the teeny tiny incidental that the pills are a banned poison they were shipping as non toxic, instead of being convicted of running a scam).
So where are the class action attorneys - I'll join, and I'll head up the posse to get others to join. Shouldn't be hard to prove these bozos and most of the initial bigwigs, including his most holiness DOC FOG, based on their history, were engaged in the MLM equivalent of pump and dump.
Anybody know a good class action attorney? This is a call to arms!!

Greetings, I understand there is a class action suite going on, however I do not have the information at this time. Please help if you can by writing to my email provided. I had gotton an 800 number to get in on this action, however when I call it says not available from my area. I have tried it from South Carolina as well as Oklahoma City. Any information would be greatly appreciated. I got in from the start and am about 600 dollars deep I would love to collect. God Bless us all anyway and good luck to all of you. David G. S.C.

Such blatant dishonesty is more than a little disconcerting. I do wonder how people can sleep at night knowing they are lying, cheating and stealing. As we all know there is no insurance policy for success and there is some risk involved in any marketing scheme. However, with such blatant dishonesty I hope the class action suit will give those responsible a wake up call.
