Cognigen Networks Releases Quarterly Reports

Cognigen Networks, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: CGNW - News), the Seattle area based Internet- enabled marketer of communications services and certificated reseller, today announced its unaudited financial results for the three months ended September 30, 2006. The Company realized revenue of $2,304,089 for the three months ended September 30, 2006, compared to revenue of $2,821,872 for the same period in 2005. Operating expenses for the quarter ended September 30, 2006, decreased approximately 13% over the same period in 2005. Net income decreased from $46,117 for the period ended September 30, 2005, to a net income loss of $113,367 for the same period in 2006. Net cash provided by operations was $117,400 for the quarter ended September 30, 2006, compared to the $40,354 for the same period in 2005.

Cognigen Network Partialy Sold to Acceris COmmunications

Acceris Management and Acquisition LLC d/b/a Acceris Communications, a nationwide provider of telecommunication services, announced today that it has recently entered into an agreement with Cognigen Networks, Inc. to purchase certain telecommunications customer accounts and assets including the brand names Cognidial, Congnicall and Cogniworld. The transaction is subject to regulatory approval with an anticipated closing before the end of the year.

Jessica Newman, Chief Executive Officer of Acceris Communications, commented, “This acquisition enhances our customer base and furthers our strategy to grow the number of customers in our target markets while enhancing our revenue stream. There is very little overlap between our current customer base and Cognigen’s proprietary customers. Further, Cognigen’s back-office functions will integrate seamlessly with Acceris’ existing infrastructure. Current operations and customer service functions related to the purchased Cognigen customer accounts will be moved to our San Diego operations center.”
