Very relevant and absolutely true. HOWEVER, in the 10-200 user market, initial capital acquisition costs often can be the SOLE determinant. I personally think that a solution based upon Open-standards provides the most benefit to businesses interested in the next level of IP Telephony. Aastra, Shoretel, and, Zyltus work well together because they are "open". A few other vendors tend to add proprietary extensions, making it difficult to realize the full benefit of SIP Trunking.
