Herbalife Has New Korean General Manager
Herbalife Ltd. has appointed Young Hee Chung as the new general manager of Korea, the company said Tuesday.
Chung is the first female to serve in this capacity in Korea and has worked with Herbalife since it first began doing business in Korea in 1996. She has been senior manager of distributor relations and sales, and senior manager for sales and marketing since 2000. She holds a B.A. degree from the University of Minnesota and completed classes in a master's program at the City University of New York's Baruch Graduate School of Business.

This story reminds me -- I have wondered how MLM companies work things with their corporate leadership. Do they choose the people who lead the affairs of the company from among their strongest representatives, or do they hire management from outside of the company? Was Young Hee Chung a successful executive with the company to begin with, or did she apply from outside with a terrific resume? Does she get a salary/insurance/stock-options package, or is she making her money from a previously-created downline or six?
Just wondering.
