There are definite benefits to owning your own travel business. You get travel perks but also the general benefits of tax deductions and things of that sort.
I started mine about 6 months ago.

Travel is a hot commodity. I've always thought travel insurance was a brilliant concept to insure against loss for a ticket that has been paid for when a traveler cannot travel for any reason. It seems as though one could make a mint selling these kind of ad-ons.

I agree 1,000% This Travel Industry has gone wild and the projections of dollars spent is well over 6TRILLION Dollars.
The TIME Share Industry is becoming OBSOLETE. The middle man has been eliminated. Now people can travel to 4 and 5 Stars resorts 52 weeks a year at whole sale prices. So Don’t buy one.

I have been a home based agent for going on 15 years. I have 4 subagents and sell primarily cruise and land tours. I signed on with a host agency and my business has increased by 60% in the last year alone.My last host agency offered no support.
