Lightyear Alliance: Success With Long Distance

Friends,

I'd like to share an extremely powerful story with you.  The following story is about a gentleman who was just a "regular" guy. After being presented with the opportunity of long distance, his life was forever changed. Enjoy!

In 1990, Paul was a high school teacher and basketball coach in Danville, Kentucky. Through unwise money management, he and his wife were trapped in a monetary nightmare. Paul was desperate for financial relief.

He needed something to supplement the income he was making by teaching.

A company that provided long-distance service had been started, and that company had chosen network marketing as their distribution vehicle. The name of that company was Excel Long Distance.

Someone spoke to Paul Orberson about the business opportunity offered by Excel. He decided to give it a try.

Paul started talking to people. He'd share the business opportunity, some would say "no thanks, not interested," and some decided to try it. Those who decided to come in would receive Paul's assistance in getting their businesses going on the right track.

Paul stayed with the program, diligently inviting people to take a look at this business he was building. Again, as people came on board, he would help them get started.

Only seven years after he'd started with Excel, Paul Orberson retired. Within that short stretch of seven years' time, he had become a millionaire several times over.

Here is what is fascinating to me, Greg Arnett, webmaster of this site.  What happened next illustrates the concept of "a cash-generating machine that can't be stopped." Over the course of that seven year period with Excel, Paul only personally sponsored 38 people into the business. Of those 38 people, only two or three worked the opportunity for what it was worth. Yet by the time that he retired in 1997, there were over one million distributors in Paul's organization, and over 4.5 million customers.

Consider those numbers again: only 38 sponsored into the business over a seven year period of time (of which only 2 to 3 actually worked it as a business) multiplied themselves into over 1 million marketing reps with over 4.5 million customers! THAT is a machine that cannot be turned off.

Paul made an override commission off of every long distance dollar spent. Had he been paid under the compensation plan designed by Paul for our company, he would also have made a bonus for nearly every marketing representative that came into the business opportunity.

Override commissions on long distance communication services are how Paul achieved his wealth.  Those overrides are how he was able to retire at the ripe old age of 39.

Paul achieved AMAZING success during his time promoting long distance services.  IMAGINE what we have here providing multiple services that YOU and I use EVERYDAY!!!

Paul's story is certainly an incredible one. There will even be more money made this time with the shift to videophones! Incredible! I don't know how I stumbled on this, but it was great!
