Melaleuca Aquires Naming Rights to Idaho Baseball Field
IDAHO FALLS, Idaho The future of minor league baseball in Idaho Falls just got a little more secure.
The owner of the Idaho Falls Chukars will pay as much as two (M) million dollars to build a new stadium by next summer.
Owner Dave Elmore, who owns five minor league teams, says advancing the project the money is the right thing to do.
His pledge comes after the healthcare products company Melaleuca agreed to chip in 600-thousand dollars, acquiring the right to rename the stadium Melaleuca Field, from what's now McDermott Field.
