MonaVie Indianapolis

MonaVie, the nutritional fruit juice sweeping the country by storm is now available in Indianapolis.

Healthy-Juice.biz today announced the availability of MonaVie juice in Indianapolis and the central Indiana area. D. Ruesch, owner of www.healthy-juice.biz said he is excited about the product and the potential for sales in the area. “I started drinking the juice because I had heard all the hype and wanted to try it myself. Honestly, I was skeptical at first, but the positive results I started seeing made me a believer in a matter of weeks.” He said he was so impressed that he decided to sign up as a distributor. “Obviously, it’s cheaper to purchase the product as a distributor than to buy it at retail. As I took a closer look at the incentive plan, I realized there was money-making potential in being a distributor.”

Truth hurts

I am a registered nurse and one problem I really have with the way Monavie is marketed is that many people claim it can help people who have diabetes. I guess most of these people know little or nothing about the disease because diabetics should not drink fruit juice - it will raise their blood sugar. Also, I really don't see how it can help those who are overweight. Those who are overweight should avoid fruit juices and drinks that add excess calories and stick to water. And fresh fruit is better. But the thing that bothers me most is that the whole system is based on greed and materialism. People who join are shown things that shouldn't really matter in a person's life if they are truly happy. I have a nice house,a great husband, and am very happy. I don't need Monavie or a new Mercedes to make me happy. I am very healthy and slim and I eat mostly organic foods. I rarely drink fruit juice. So please tell me what do you say to people like me?

Denise

Hi Truth Hurts,
I just wanted to comment on your posting. I agree with your skeptism, however, I have been diagnosed with diabetes. Of course, I checked with my doctor before starting MonaVie, but MonaVie isn't your typical "fruit juice". The reason diabetics are to stay away from the fruit juices is because of their high percentage of sugar. MonaVie only has 4 grams of sugar in it per serving - that is nothing compared to normal fruit juices. Also - I have a hard time getting in all of my fruit and vegetabl servings just because I do not like to eat them....never have...but with MonaVie, I'm getting in 5-7 servings of fruit every day for just a portion of the cost if I were to purchase 5-7 servings at the grocery. I'm not down-playing your opinion at all...everyone has a right to their opinion. I'm also not sure who presented MonaVie to you because the greed of money and a mercedes has NEVER been presented to me as a reason to join. The foremost only reason I joined as a distributor was for the health benefits. The testimonials that I have read about and that have happened to true live people that I KNOW have blown me away. Since I've started drinking MonaVie, my A1c went from a 7.9 down to a 5.6...just in 2 months! So - am I in this for greed...no way - it is 100% for the health benefit! I also have a lot more energy during the day - no more of those 1-2pm needing a nap days - and I sleep more restful at night. Because of the increased energy level - it makes me want to "move" more...so I have in turn started walking every day at least 2-3 miles. So, let's see...should overweight people drink this - absolutely! I'm not saying that MonaVie will cause you to lose weight, but it has increased my energy, made me want to exercise, has even increased my urge to drink water. I would say that I'm benefitting from this more than just by driving a fancy car.

Please do not take this posting as rude in anyway. I just feel that whoever presented this opportunity to you did not present it to you is a very good way. Like you, I questioned and doubted it and spent a lot of time doing research. I am not becoming rich as a distributor in selling this - but that was not and is not my intention either. My intention is to improve my health and the health of those people that I love and care about. Please do a little more research before making up your mind definitely. I'd be glad to provide you with further information if you are interested.

Thanks for listening (reading) - and have a great weekend!

I was interested in MonaVie when I purchased the website:

http://www.MsMonaVie.com

However because of family issues, I can no longer devote my time to the business.

The website is for sale at:
http://www.sedo.com/search/details.php4?domain=msmonavie.com

I think it has a lot of potential, so I hope you can use it in your business and be a success!

Maria

My husband and I are MonaVie distributors. We love the nutritional benefits it provides for our family! If you have children, you know just how difficult it is to get them to eat their suggested servings of fruits and vegetables.

Jerry

Interesting product, the health benefits for diabetics should be an insurance policy for success. This is a great lead.

Okay not to change the subject but lemme talk about this scam zrii. Since they took the liberty to blast monavie at their meeting I decided to give you guys the rundown.

I gave my friend this analysis and since you all have asked I will give it to you. Zrii”s 1st general session was supposed to start at 11:00p.m. They started two hours late. During those two hours I made good use of my time, mingling with distributors (they call themselves “executives”, sounds like AMWAY, don’t worry it’s not the last unoriginal idea you’ll read about here) and corporate employees.

NO ONE! Not a single one, including my friend could tell me, (A) the process. Where does the juice come from? Where is it manufactured, bottled and shipped from? They would simply say California but they couldn’t tell me where, what company, or any other details. They either didn’t know or wouldn’t say and both those reasons made me nervous about the quality and control of the product. (B) If Bill Farley and his hired executives are so committed to Zrii, if it is such a unified, revolutionary idea, why is Zrii in essence the second job they are all holding down? All the executives have Zrii as their secondary employment. They all are still running other businesses, or as I found out running them into the ground. (C) Why has Deepak Chopra completely backed away from Zrii? Why did he ask to be taken off their web site and simply have it endorsed by his center? (D) Without talking mythology, why is this “brand”, which is all they talked about in the meeting, any better than any other direct sales beverage company?

I can tell you why I believe Mona Vie to be the leader. They talked about the bonus program, the “prosperity plan”, I countered with similar plans from other companies, and the fact that Mona Vies compensation plan was far more beneficial to the distributor than the plan Zrii has set forth. They talked about the story of the Amalaki fruit; I told them the story of Mona Vie. They told me the health benefits. I told them the health benefits of drinking Mona Vie. This one lady was venomously attacking not just Mona Vie but other companies as well. It got me to the breaking point, which is hard to do, so at her insistence, I let her have it. Watch the video she said, just watch the video, the video is incredible. Okay, I said, have you seen the video? She said she had. I said well I haven’t, but let me guess its contents. She looked at me puzzled. I continued.

“It starts off with some questions that need to be answered, maybe some facts, about disease, about mal nutrition, about dreams and what people want. Things like, do I want a healthier life? Do I want to live my dreams? Do I want to live the lifestyle I have always wanted to live? Then cut to Bill Farley, he talks about this idea he had, (being the concerned advocate of health that he is), he talks to a friend, some kind of spiritual guru or alternative medicine practitioner will do. I bet its Deepak Chopra. And you got to wonder, is this even his idea or is he playing the egocentric money hungry opportunist again? They talk and he tells him a tale of a legendary fruit that has untapped healing and medicinal properties. Then Boom! Whisk us off to a foreign land that no one is familiar with, roam the streets a bit, talk folklore a bit and then the finale? Wrap it up with modern science justifying all the hocus pocus. I’ll tell you what, I would have believed it a little more if the power of the brand or the folklore of the juice could have started this meeting two hours earlier, would have given the wisdom to foresee that it’s too cold and windy to send groups of people out into a lake on boats. Well, I guess they don’t need wisdom for that, just Al Roker.” She was stunned.

I said, lady I’m a direct sales veteran, you can’t pull the wool over my eyes. Look around you. These guys want to make a fast buck. They have run numerous companies into the ground. Bill Farley being one of them. Lawsuits, allegations, bankruptcy. Just ask him about fruit of the loom, or bullying his way into the Sox with other people’s money. Or ask Bill about his “team” that comes from Sibu. A company that ran aground under their leadership so they decided to jump ship. Just in case these items were news to you here is the scoop.

Bill Farley, the company's former chairman chief executive officer and chief operating officer was forced out of fruit of the loom prior to bankruptcy in late 1999, after having piloted the company into massive debt and unproductive business ventures. Fruit of the Loom filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in 1999 shortly after posting a net loss of $576.2 million. Its 66 million shares of outstanding common stock dropped in value from about $44 per share in early 1997 to just more than $1 by the spring of 2000. If you want more just Google it.

When we finally got into the meeting it turned into the Bill Farley show. The self pronounced king of branding went into his self pontificating shtick that continued for 30 minutes. The company should be called zrawley. The second session talked about the science behind Zrii but there was no magic, no heart, no guts just an overriding emphasis on money, money making, and Bills great success. The symbol of the “zrii brand” on the sides of the stage should have been replaced by Farley’s’ head with dollar signs in his eyes.

The fact of the matter is he has no track record in the industry; he is here for one reason only, himself. I apologize if I seem heated. It’s just that I have seen me too many companies like this. They come and go, they leave people empty handed, they leave people broken hearted, they shatter dreams, they are the bad carbs, the twinkies or the direct sales diet. Their companies sink and the executives get out in the life boats wealthy and nowhere to be found.
Speaking of aquatic fun, in the midst of all this we had a “wonderful” boat ride. The weather was a cold 57 degrees with winds around 25 mph. One “executive” commented, “I don’t think a lot of thought went into this, I feel like I’m on the titanic.” She was a sweet gal so I didn’t try to warn her that she was right in more ways than one.

Zrii and the titanic share very similar qualities. A lot of money behind it, (word on the street is they are still looking for money to finance), shortcuts being made on design, (people are already saying they couldn’t ship prior to the launch because of problems with the juice), a lot of recognizable names on the passenger list, but ultimately, it’s a ship doomed from the moment it launches from port. Like the titanic its flaws will contribute to its sinking along with a captain who lacks the experience and decision making skills he was so praised for having previously.

I have a thought, get an original idea! Here’s some advice, do something that hasn’t been done! Bill Farley, branding genius? Or branding plagiarist? Read Farleys’ history and that of his executive team. They all have extensive experience in buying into businesses and running them aground and this is no secret, its’ common knowledge, Google people! Google!

Zrii like the titanic will sink. They will join that cold ocean floor of me too companies that litter the direct sales ocean. Remember, with all the hype, all the fanfare, all the names, bands and fireworks, the ship sank, at least the titanic left on schedule.

"I don't need Monavie or a new Mercedes to make me happy. I am very healthy and slim and I eat mostly organic foods. I rarely drink fruit juice. So please tell me what do you say to people like me?"

"Hi, a pleasure to meet you"?

:)

I agree. I don't need Monavie or anything else to make me happy, it is already part of my nature.

I was lucky enough to have a friend just hand me a glass of frosty fruit juice and say "try this and tell me what you think."

I like juices in general, from orange to pear to pineapple, V8 etc. And I really liked Monavie.

I'm also in the process of "going organic" and learning how not to be a total nitwit when it comes to my unfortunate and ingrained "all American" attitudes towards consumption in general and diet in particular.

You wouldn't think it would take a massive heart attack to wake a guy like me up,( I'm not educationally deprived) but I believe many an educated person can be blindsided by what they are not aware of due to their intense focus upon whatever it is they deem their field of expertise. "Absent minded professor" syndrome?

At any rate, after further review and much, much more tasting and research of this fine juice, I checked out the company and decided to become a distributor.

So enough about me and my favorite juice (unless of course you are interested in my droning on:)

Bottom line, if you are not partial to juices then this product and opportunity obviously isn't likely to appeal to you.

But as you are an RN, I'd be interested in your thoughts and experiences concerning the purported health benefits of a host of products and supplements if you would be so kind as to engage.

Best To Ya!

Mona Vie business model is a scam. It makes friends hard sell their friends and relatives like they have been inducted into a cult.

Also, the Mona Vie juice gave me a 3 day migraine.

My friend/distributed who hard sold me and signed me up for auto delivery said he cancelled everything after I did not accept first shipment of product.

Next month I am still getting billed. I would not recommend this product or the business model (multi level marketing) which is legal but is not good.

Horrible way to do business.

Product is way overpriced, but then it gave me a migraine so why would I want it.

Help me get out of this mess. I can't get anyone from the company to refund money or stop delivering the product.

I am stuck in a cult.

I have tried MonaVie and just wanted to let people know that before you go out and spend a whole bunch of money on this self proclaimed miracle juice you should read this http://www.powersupplements.com/acai/monavie-compare.html

After all this products clam to fame is Acai berry which i use myself and is a very good antioxidant but its most effective when derived from a freeze dried process in a powder or pill form. From what i have read any other form of processing will greatly lessen the effects of Acai berry. In my opinion MonaVie is way over priced and you can get pure freeze dried Acai berry in pill or powder form for half the cost of MonaVie.

John Keenan

I wanted nothing more than to believe these claims. Unfortunately, the more I researched this product, the more I became disappointed and skeptical. I purchase my acai berry products from the only trusty worthy manufacturer I’m aware of; Sambazon. Monavie not only neglects to list the percentages of each fruit used in their product, but does not mention the process by which they extract and or process the juice. I derived on my own research that MonaVie does not purchase their acai berry juice from Sambazon, the only reputable manufacturer known to use freeze dried acai berry juice in all of their acai berry products. In addition to the contents, I think it questionable that they use a pyramid scheme in order to sell their product instead of through reputable dealers. Why not be able to walk into your local vitamin shop or health food store and pick up a bottle for a reasonable price??? Very shady.

Ethics 101

The truth boils down to this.

The scam is using uneducated and less fortunate people to sell fruit juice with promise of fame and fortune. Regardless if the practice is legitimate or not, the marketing practices being used here are unethical.

Marketing should promote the unique selling proposition of the fruit juice, not the dream of wealth that comes with pushing it on your friends and family. Any ‘upline” people that take advantage will have to live with themselves knowing they scammed money out of the pockets of the less fortunate.

I’m sure this is why Dallin Larsen a devout Mormon is at church every Sunday – anything to make you feel better – scum bag.

It is so sad to see so many negative people out there. Always seeing the bad in everything , I take it you had a bad experience. I have worked for another dual marketing companie for the past 12 years, earned 4 FREE cars and never once have I ever tried to take advantage of others, those poor uneducated people of society as you put it. We also sell our product through consultants instead in the store on the shelf, that way the consultants can make a decent wage, just as you do at your daily JOB. And for my company that has worked well for the past 45 years. This process has enriched many people lives. As for MonaVie I started drinking it 2 months ago and believe the product is wonderful, I started drinking it and sharing it with others ,such as my 80 year old mother who has polio and alot of pain, what a blessing it has been and a joy to see her for the first time in a long time be able to go shopping and enjoy herself because of her increased energy level. There is also my friend who has had cancer twice and who is so tired can not even make it through the day, now she has more energy. No monavie is not a cure for anything, just a healthy drink. I am so sorry some of you have not had great success , its really to bad. I feel if it helps one of my loved ones enough to live a better quality of life, than I will continue to drink and to share. My goal is to help others feel just a tad bit better in the amount time they may have left. Thank God for so many options to better health and the companies who do create them.

MonaVie is a nice product, but it should be seen for what it is. A little overpriced so that layers of distributors can get paid on your purchase.

Did you know you can buy it off of Ebay for about $20 instead of $35 a bottle as a distributor. I paid for $995 of juice to that price, and then found out I could get it for that online with Ebay. Interesting....

I blogged about it here http://texasmonavie.blogspot.com/

Jane Austin

I purchased a bottle from http://www.mymonavie.com/wealthontap and as much as I enjoyed the product I also believe if you are looking for the benefits of the Acai Berry you should purchase a 100% pure Acai product. However if you are looking at a fruit blend as every fruit has unique health benefits I believe MonaVie is worth it if you can afford it.

I love monavie. I think it is great and anyone disparaging the beverage is just ignorant. Just my two cents.

max

I love monavie. Everyone should be drinking the stuff, it has helped me with my energy and sleeping problems. It's not a "cure" claim if it's true right?

jusofboise

Monavie has 19 fruits, now there is Jus with 23 fruits and botanicals. They claim to have the highest orac value of any antioxidant juice. Here is a site for it http://www.jusofboise.com

Monavie Acai Berry

Good tip. You really do get a huge discount as a distributor and you have the oppertunity to make money, or at least break even on the drinks purchase price. So if you drink Monavie there really is no reason not to be a distributor. Oh, and if you sign up with a team that brings in a lot of distributor and places them under you then you are almost guarenteed to break even on the purchase price.

MonaVie

It really is great. If you only interested in the product you can sign up a few distributors and break even on the cost.
