I recently went to a siminar for mona vie. Right at the start i found it truly weird how people were so friendly/....in fact too friendly....
to each other. I sat for 4 hours listning to all their presentations...and took my 5 min. to see from the start that it was all a scam and listning to mark and his wife's BAD ACTING!
come on! i know there are alot of suckers out there that will beleive all of their BS that they sing you through these shows.
JUICE IS JUICE! why the hell would you buy a 40$
bottle of juice? if it was such a miracle worker to GOOD health,,, then why in the hell is it only 40$? why isnt it used by dr's? why do they need to brain wash people to sell it for them?

THey are making this out to turn into a cult!

Why claim Acai Berry as the active ingredient and then NOT DISCLOSE how much of this berry is in the drink? It is just another red flag that anyone with common sense would see when checking out this scheme.

I just love to read the SlopJar rhetoric from the anti Mona Vie sacklunches. If you ever really and truly drank the juice (which you have not and are fooling no-one, especially me) and seen the benefits, you would then see why this product is doing so well. And, I don't mind at all who I make richer when I am also making myself richer. For all you Hot Shots out there, if you aim at nothing, you will hit it everytime. Why don't you try the product and invest in substance and truth?

I keep thinking MonaVie may be seriously considering incorporating the Chilean maqui berry into their next product, with so many maqui products coming on the scene recently. It really is an amazing superfood, and so much more powerful than acai in terms of its anti-oxidant value. Not only that, maqui is easier to pronounce than acai and has a better ring to it - Ha!
I love the taste of Synaura's maqui beverage, Avia, so much more than MonaVie. Can't wait for the bottles to come available. Right now, I have both MonaVie and Avia in my refrigerator. I truly believe that these products are worth the money for the benefits they deliver... I guess it's just a matter of product choice for those of us that will continue to consume them.

Superjuices don’t come close when comparing costs for antioxidants. Example: A day’s serving of MonaVie (4 oz.) is $7.20 ($45/bottle) or as low as $3.20 a day (at $20 – distributor’s cost) A single Delicious Red Apple costs about $0.75

For MonaVie,that gives you a ORAC of 2,698 umoles (29.57 ml per oz times 4 oz.times 22.81 according to AIBMR). That also gives you a total phenolics (all antioxidants) for the day, of 175 mg. for 4 oz.

Bahni, you are right, I was quite a sucker to be sucked in to all of the hype built around your juice product. I was a Monavie rep more than a year ago and grew tired of all of the blah, blah, blah that I was hearing.

First I was told to get on one case of product (about $150 a month). Then, I found out that in order to get the full benefit of your terrible binary compensation plan, two cases will have to be the norm (about $250 a month). Then, on a live webcast, I heard that if you are truly serious about building it BIG you would have to get on 3, 6, or 12 cases of product.

I am not new to network marketing and have been involved with companies where the "top dogs" tell you to "frontload" so that they can fatten up their monthly checks. Of course, they don't use the "frontload" term. They use sweet sounding words like "you have to got to have plenty of product so you can share it with others.

Wake up and smell the coffee before your credit cards are all maxed out and you are left wondering what really happened.

I am here just to share my experience and hopefully prevent others from falling into the trap that I fell into. Oh, by the way, we are all sales people in one way of another. So learn the difference between a sales person and someone who is trying to let others know of the deceptive practices used by many companies in the industry.

There is a misconception in today's business world that you have to spend a lot of money on a monthly basis to start a home based business. The network marketing industry is filled with companies that stress a high volume of auto-ship product purchases so you can earn a commission.

The leaders in many of them point out that you should get on 3, 6, or 12 cases of product a month to effectively build your business. Well, I am here to say that if you buy into that type of mentality your chances of success are very small.

You see, there is no need for that if the company that you are involved in really cares about you and your chances of success. The fact is that building your business this way is not really duplicable for many.

So, do not be led by the few who only care about themselves and not you. Do your homework when evaluating an opportunity and do not fall for all of the hype built around one product. Truly look into everything about the company that you are going into business with.

Find out about the support tools and I don't mean expensive cd's, dvd's, and brochures. Is the compensation plan fair to all and can you make money by being on just one product and are the products affordable by all?

Can you truly build your business working from home using the internet and your computer or are they having you run all over town using 30 to 40 year old techniques like chasing family and friends?

How many business building calls are there every week and every month? Try to look for at least 8 calls a week and 32 calls a month that help you build your business right from the comfort of your own home.

Are you allowed to use third party training material in case you are not getting the kind of training and outcome that you desire? This is very important because very few companies allow you to go outside their ranks to get trained.

I have just described a company that is gaining ground on all of the others. I have just described a sleeping giant in the industry that is getting ready to explode onto the scene. You can build a BIG income with the company I am describing simply by passing out your business card.

I still do not understand why a company, such as MonaVie, would charge a $39 sign up fee and a $20 yearly fee thereafter to stay active with the company. The way I see it, they should be happy to have someone come onboard and help distribute their juice.

I just noticed that they are waving the $39 fee for the entire year. Could it be that they are trying to stop the hemorrhaging (70% dropout rate)? or Are they worried that they are losing a lot of their distributors to a company with affordable, life changing products and a better compensation plan?

MonaVie may be good but way too expensive. You can go to www.brazilbotanicals.com and www.agrolabs.com and get a better deal. The acai products at these two sites come in 32 oz. (not 25.5 like MonaVie) and cost around $20 per bottle (not $45 per bottle).

As for the business part of it, it is just way out of reach for 95% of the people who are struggling in today's economy. When you have a company "top dog" tell you that you have to get onboard with at least two cases of product (about $300), then turn the other way and walk away. And when you hear the same "top dog" tell you to go on 6 or 12 cases so you can build an effective business (frontloading) you better run out the door.

If you are going to associate yourself with a company make sure that it has affordable products, the right compensation plan (no binary and no breakaways), new school training methods (not the build a list b/s), and support from the company and leaders (at least 32 support calls a month).

Also, make sure that the company allows you to truly work your business from home without having you do any running around going to meetings, doing home meetings, and chasing family and friends. There is no need for that with the internet.

A Newsweek article dated Aug. 11, 2008 found that MonaVie has a dropout rate of 70% and that 90% of the people are not making any money in MonaVie. The same article states that fewer than 1% qualified for commissions and of those only 10% made more than $100 a week.
