THE TRUTH SHALL BE TOLD...

I have been a member of WLG for about 8 months, yes they offer a wide variety of services. GRM/GRA isn’t that bad of a deal if you recruit like mad other agents and produce a few transactions a year. If you are a REALTOR and you are good at what you do GRM/GRA may cost you too much to stay in the business because there is no CAP. GEL on the other hand is HORRIBLE. Let me explain this. I was told I was coming in at a 70% split because I have prior experience. They "forgot to process my application properly" and then after a few loans funded I got paid at 30%. This hurt me HUGE financially since I ONLY DO LOANS. That is my job. Its nice to see an automated pricing engine and everything else that’s in their online bag of tricks, but they also did not disclose to me the .55YSP + 10% or 12% fees for processing, coordinator, etc. If you don’t understand this the website NOW HAS THIS POSTED ON IT. GEL will always price ATLEAST .25% higher than any other broker because of this (If I price your loan at 6.75% with Countrywide, GEL will give you the same loan for 7%. Ask to see the dual capacity disclosure for REALTORS doing loans on the same transaction. It states that they recommend for you to NOT USE GEL on your financing because pricing will be better elsewhere, and it is. At least they are truthful to the borrower that they are ripping them off in the fine print. The quality of people they hire in the Cerritos processing center "David Thawley's center I believe" you are better off hiring day laborers from in front of home depot or lowes to write a computer program. They are unreliable, do a poor job and don't understand underwriting guidelines. They also forced one of my borrowers to use “Financial Title” out of CA and we are in AZ. This is the borrowers right to choose the title company, plus they jacked up his file so bad we closed a week late and he got over charged $100 (which I got him reimbursed only after I almost filed a complaint with the BBB) Financial Title also DOES NOT SPEAK GOOD ENGLISH and did not understand my instructions verbally or printed. I'd rather hire a homeless person to process my files, they would do a better job. GEL unethically took between $8,000 and $12,000 of my commission because they can't undo the commission payouts that they have already paid out. I pray for two things. The lending industry to start requiring licensing and a code of ethics comparable to REALTOR's to prevent companies like this from ruining the industry and Eternal life for Hubert Humphrey in hell for the distress he has imposed upon many families across the country by his non-disclosure and lack of ethics. I will retract my last prayer after myself and ALL OTHER MEMBERS and EX-MEMBERS are reimbursed our misrepresented commissions and our equity share certificates. For the record I am "in good standing in my employment agreement with WLG and its subsidiaries" so that I will always be owed my equity share certificates/points well after I have passed away and Hubert is burning in Hell. I am just not employed by GEL. I am back with a real broker again.

I went to a 1st. meeting last night and I got so many #'s and stats that by the end of the presentation I was very cautious and came home to do some research. My friend invited me to this ( with good intentions of course) I want to do something like this, not just to help myself but to help people that I know also. I don't know if you have any info about a company known as "freedom financial group" www.debtfreeffg.com. It looks legit, simple program, and puts people on a plan which at least helps them organize their finances and be solvent in about 8-14 years avg. You can work at MLM or even by yourself. You can start with $25 or $250 plans and use the plan for yourself also. I think this can really help people, and if you have anything else to add please let us know about this.

You wrote the above blog in June. Has anything changed for you in resepect to WLG?

Wow, how one sided. I have been with WLG for over 2 years and have greatly enjoyed the experience. There are a lot of things above that don't make sense. If your application was processed wrong than that is not WLG's fault, that is your upline's fault. Also, coming in at 70%? You were either offered a personal producer contract which is really 80% or you were making well into 6 figure income in the mortgage business before you joined. Those are the requirements. As far as interest rates, we have some of the lowest rates out there because of the volume we produce and we are the 3rd largest broker in the country. I have also noticed that while my competition continues to charge their borrowers 5% comissions, Global Equity Lending does not like it if you charge above 3% and I usually harge 2%-2.5%. Now, even if GEL charged .25% more in interest rate, do the math in the fees and commissions. The better deal for the borrower is with GEL. We keep more money in our borrower's pocket. That doesn't happen by accident or by scamming people. Also, if we were scamming people, here is a good question. Why would the nation's top lenders agree to work with us and why, have we passed all of our audits? GRM is a great opportunity and is about to franchise. There isn't a single real estate company out there that can even come close to our compensation package. We have been featured in Realtor Magazine with very posative third party reviews. FLA is a financial company that gives middle America the same assets under management services that used to only be reserved for the wealthy.

Some stated above they were skeptical because "numbers were thrown at them". Numbers are numbers and the great thing about them is if you do A,B, and C, you can expect X. The numbers are not wrong but they are what they are which is numbers that can vary based on you and your team. We are recruiting highly trained professionals who are excited with our loan system, concepts, products, and the ease of doing business.

In my experience, the people that don't like WLG is because 1 of 2 reasons. The first is they were lazy or uncoachable and just expected money to magically appear. The second, is the person who is more short sighted. They get caught up in things that seem like they are inmportant but when you see the big picture aren't. For example the .25% above every other broker stated above. First of all blanket statements are unreliable and second you have to look at the big picture. As an investor, I would gladly pay a few dollars more a month to keep more of my assets liquid and in my pocket. Lets use some common sense and be objective here.

Finally, does anyone else on here have a solution for saving middle America and keeping the American dream alive? It's easy to complain but where are the solutions? What are your contributions to solve our country's current financial obstacles. The beauty of WLG is you don't have to work for it to make money. You can be a client and make money as well. Just using WLG's concepts, I was able to start a career in real estate investing which in the first year cash flows me $180,000 and next year, $360,000-$720,000 depending on how agressive I choose to be. If you were in the company and left before December of 2007, I recommend going to www.haveyouseenwlglately.com Just like any new company, it will have its bumps. As business grows, wrinkles are ironed out. I feel sorry for those who miss this opportunity. This is one of the few cures for the affects of the current economy on middle America. What amazes me is that people want something for nothing. I'm with WLG and have been for years. I hold a Series 65, Life Health and Annuity Lic and a Real Estate Brokers license and have always made six figures in these industries. I'd made six figures whether I was with WLG or not.

I've chose to work with WLG due to the tools, leadership and backing the company has. People chose to work for our team because of the leadership, training and kindness we have.

Let me ask you all this. Have you ever eaten at a restaurant and the food and service was just horrible. I mean so bad you just couldn't hardly make it through the meal. Well does that mean you stop eating all together and throw in the towel. Of course not. So if you had a bad experience at someones office...does that mean that every office is the same and that the company is a scam.

I mean come on. We don't get paid to recruit and this isn't some vitamin MLM deal of the month. These are the most regulated industries in the world. If you take the recruiting away we are like every other financial planning firm, real estate broker, insurance company and mortgage company. And myself and many of our agents make a great living on personal production. The same people who sometimes things because we recruit we are some MLM end of joining the stupidest companies I've ever seen that are straight 3x3x3x3x3 type of MLM deals...it's just nuts to me to sell products where you make $50 or less per sale. As a businessman it's tough to take that crap serious. Mathamatically if you are making $50 or less per sale you have to have thousands of people selling hundreds of products to make any kind of income, let alone wealth. I know people who have been in MLMs for years and have thousands of agents and are still part time...its just rediculous to me. I just think if you are going to be in business you ought to make money. I have to be in industries where the average income is Thousands per transaction like real estate, mortgages and financial planning.

So don't talk bad about a company that you clearly have no experience with other then a few meetings.

And you mention Equity Indexed Universal Life likes its a bad thing. Douglas Andres who wrote Missed Fortune 101 will clear things up for those who aren't quite educated enough to understand complex investment vehicles.

And one last things to all the nay sayers...how is what you are currently doing for a living working? I mean...95% of America does not make six figures and they are corporate america nine to five Cubicle Junkies. And that's pretty sad and most will never achieve wealth.

But don't talk bad about any company you don't know alot about. Let's be honest...you probably no nothing about our firm or how we operate...but yet there you go making decisions based on assumptions versus facts.

Don't jump to conclusions. Talk with someone who actually does well in financial services, shadow someone for a few days and spend 10 hours actually watching the training modules etc and then make a decision. But WLG being a scam, please. I would have left a long time ago if that was the case.
