Saturation?!

I participate in several home-based business forums online, and one of them which is quite popular brought up a subject that I felt would be valuable for you if you are thinking about joining or PAS business.

This individual's main concern was that one day, PAS will end because likely it will run out of prospects. Here is my response to him:

Bluesman,
Very interesting point of view. You mentioned that something that requires someone to join in order to make money will end somewhere, sometime. I strongly disagree.

That's like saying that something that requires someone to buy in order for you to make money will end.

Industries that are similar to PAS in the sense that a buyer is likely to buy only once in their lifetime are mortgage, boats/airplanes, Cutco cutlery, wedding rings, wedding dresses, wedding cakes, pools, lifetime-warranty items, etc, etc.

Yet these industries are THRIVING because there will always be 'first-time buyers" for their products/services.

There are approximatedly 8 billion people in the world. Only 1 billion is online, according to statistics. PAS is a marketing tool that advertises what you've got to sell... or markets itself hands-free.

Let me ask you something... how many home-based business owners are there that would kill to have a marketing tool like PAS? How many people out there are sick and tired of their jobs and looking for a way to make money from home? How many people turn 21 every day? How many new internet users are there world-wide? How many people graduate from college every year world-wide?

I hope this effectively addresses the question about "saturation" that in reality is a myth.

Which Quadrant Do You Operate On?

"There are four basic ways to make money...", says Robert Kiyosaki's New York Times Best Seller "The Cashflow Quadrant"... "... you can make money as an Employee, as a Self-employed individual, or you can make money as a Business Owner, or an Investor".

For those of you out there who haven't heard of Robert Kiyosaki's "The Cashflow Quadrant", first of all, you're missing out phenomenal financial education. If you care for your financial future, I urge you to grab a copy of this book. It is a tool that will help you understand how money works.

Anyhow, let me give you a brief rundown of what Robert K. means by the above statement.

The Cashflow Quadrant consists of the four main ways to create income:

E - Employee: Everyone is familiar with this quadrant. We all (or most of us) have been employees at some point in our lives. What you do is you put in your time in order to make money. You sell your time for an hourly wage or salary. Your income is limited by the amount of time you can put into the job. So even if you worked 24 hours a day for a whole month, your income would still be limited.

S -Self-employed: Not much different from being an employee. The major difference is that as a self-employed person, you own your own job. You're still limited to how much time you can put into it, and for instance, your income is limited. This quadrant includes professionals such as doctors and lawyers. While they may have a higher income (some of them anyway), they're still limited by how much time they can invest. "S" also stands for "small business".

B - Business Owner: By definition, a business owner is an individual who owns a system in place that generates income for him/her regardless of the time and effort he/she puts into it once it's been built. Being a business owner is not necessarily being self-employed. A small business for the most part cannot be left alone by the owner for months and even years, and still continue to create income. The owner is literally owned by his business. However, someone operating from the B quadrant, is someone who runs a system, which in turn runs his/her business.

An example of a true B Quadrant operation is the fast-food chain McDonald's, as set up by Ray Crok. He grabbed an existing restaurant and systematized it all over the world. Today, Mr. Crok is long gone... but Mrs. Ray Crok, as of a couple of years ago was making an average $30,000 a day from her husband's business. The best part is... she didn't have to physically work for this income. Her husband had created a system that continued to generate income even after he was gone.

I - Investor: This is an individual who has set aside money to put into assests such as real estate, bonds, stock market, etc. These individuals don't have to physically work to create their income. They put their money to work for them.

• PAS make (close) 10 sales @$3,895 (£2,240) for Bob.
• Bob earns commission of: $30,000 (£17,340)--- (i.e. $3,000 (£1,725) x 10 sales)

In the example, John initially "saved" himself $1,900 by joining at Basic level ... but alas, after just 10 sales, he’s already LOST $19,000 (£10,990).

Q: Surely most people join PAS at the Basic $1,995 (£1,150) level though?

A: No they do not. 85% of people join at the Premier level, for reasons numerous. It just makes plain business sense to do so.

Q: So if I join at the Basic level and PAS make a Premier sale for me, I only receive $1,100 (£630) commission on that sale?

A: That is correct.

 

Q: What happens to the “surplus” $1,900 (£1,055) from that sale?

A: It goes to your referrer.

Q: Can I upgrade from Basic level to Premier level at a later date?

A: Yes. You can upgrade from Basic to Premier level at any point, simply by paying $500 (£290) to PAS, plus $1,900 (£1,055) to your referrer. In addition, you will also be required to qualify (again) at the Premier level by passing up your first sale to your referrer.

Q: Is there another PAS entry level?

"What skills and experience do I need...

Good question. The answer is very simple: you don't need any experience in anything, you don't even have to learn much at all, and the only real skill you will need is making sure to put a little bit of your profits back into the business for even more profits.

I had the pleasure of speaking with a very nice 50-year-old gentleman a couple of days ago. He had read my PAS story, and he is going to purchase the system within the next few days.
