The Science Behind Univera Products

Mexicoaloefield_1As part of the international family of companies that comprise the ECONET, Univera has access to more than 100,000 square feet of state-of-the-art research facilities between South Korea and the U.S. In fact, we have more combined research space, more scientists, more published studies, patents and publications than any other natural products company. We also have 140,000 acres of primal forest and about 15,000 acres of other land under cultivation. Nowhere else on earth is anyone devoting the massive resources and talent at cracking the code of the aging process to produce a new generation of unique and exclusive wellness and healthy aging products.

ImageWe start with the highest quality raw materials from our farms and forests around the world. We then test the ingredients and formulas at the DNA level - a process called Genomics. No other natural products company uses Genomics to test its products. Finally we complete the chain of bringing those products from farm to family to your door by using state of the art manufacturing techniques and equipment.

Your body's ability to repair, rebuild and regenerate 300 billion new cells daily is a function of three important factors - Raw Materials, Energy and Renewal Signals. From birth to 25, Raw Materials are the necessary building blocks. From 25 to 35 your Energy level drops and some basic functions begin to cut corners. After 35, your body loses its ability to produce Renewal Signals. Univera has developed unique, proprietary formulas and products to address the root causes of aging during the three phases of the aging lifecycle.

Univera Lifesciences - The Company

NewbuildingmockupUnivera LifeSciences is the "point of the spear" - a delivery vehicle for the vast economic network of companies owned by Bill Lee who calls his companies collectively an ECONET, a global resource structure unmatched by any in the neutraceutical industry.

Among the companies in Mr. Lee's ECONET are AloeCorp--the world leader in the production of raw aloe, NamYang Aloe--Korea's greatest direct sales company, and Unigen East and West-the research and manufacturing companies that help produce the world's best natural healthy-aging products. The Lee family holdings are valued at close to a billion dollars, and the ECONET continues to grow every day.

AloeCorp—from nature’s bounty to your body

In 1988, Bill Lee established AloeCorp which has grown into the world’s largest producer of aloe vera. AloeCorp aloe is used in thousands of pharmaceutical, nutraceutical and functional foods products, from Gillette to Johnson and Johnson. Mr. Lee will soon pioneer the growing of aloe vera in Asia with a new plantation of land in China, and he recently secured the usage rights to more than 125,000 acres of land in Russia where he is currently harvesting a variety of herbs. These new acquisitions coupled with well-established vendor relationships throughout India, China and Europe, provide a wealth of ingredients that no other company can match. The aloe plants are grown in organic soils and fed super-concentrated nutrients under optimal growing conditions. The facilities that process the aloe are certified organic which means that no chemical contaminants ever touch the aloe destined for Oasis products and your body.

Unigen—science that sets us apart

Unigen Pharmaceuticals is the research and development branch of the ECONET with a world-class team of professionals running state-of-the-art laboratories including cell culture, analytical and quality control, and high through-put screening labs with over 80,000 square feet of manufacturing facility. The scientists at Unigen have a fully-equipped genomic laboratory which allows them to study plant extracts at the gene level. This allows them to know with absolute precision just how effective each extract is. Genomic research can uncover volumes of information regarding a bioactive agent by providing the means to analyze on the most basic of levels. Utilizing the breakthrough studies of DNA replication, RNA transcription, and RNA translation, Unigen scientists can better understand the nature of the substance through gene expression. They also use a proteomics approach that allows them to investigate the basic proteins generated by DNA.

Oasis Lifesciences

As part of the international family of companies that comprise the ECONET, Oasis has access to more than 100,000 square feet of research facilities between South Korea and the U.S. In fact, we have more combined research space, more scientists, more studies, patents and publications than any other natural products company. Nowhere else on earth is anyone devoting the massive resources and talent required to make the dream of healthy aging a reality. Oasis celebrates its 6th anniversary in 2005. Construction is underway on a new, 40 acre campus in Lacey, Washington which will become our new home. Oasis LifeSciences is proud to be part of this rich history—and proud of the leaders who have made this vision a reality.
