About This Blog

  • This blog is an experiment in online Network Marketing. I signed up for a new Network Marketing company and will journal my experience here on this blog. That in itself is not new territory. What I hope to be new territory is the fact that this blog will be the only tool I use to market this new product and business. Online MLM success story or train wreck? Bookmark and see.

Please keep me informed on Vemma as you ck. it out. We have been Xango independent dist. for almost 6-mo. & have been very pleased with the quality & benefits of the Xango product. Also, the Xango company has been a virtual "dream team" to work with in all ways.

Very cool idea what your doing here. I checked out the product and I am not all that impressed.

Vemma ingredients include reconstituted garcini mangostana
My question is why are they using reconstituted mangostana? The answer is money. This completely changes the benefits of the ingredients. This also adds water to the mix. My concern is why am I paying a good bit of money for a pretty good ingredient that has been reconstituted and had frutose added to it. I believe their way around the taste of the mangostana plus many people will feel a "energy" because of the sugar rush. I will say that the mangostana in its pure form is good for us and healthy with benefits but the final product Vemma is not nearly as impressive as it could have been. Distributors of Xango advertise false ORAC numbers for their product time and time again. Also the Orac values for Vemma do not show the measurement scale for the testing. Which is shady. Xango had been built on hype and it appears Vemma as well. This product has a big time budget behind it. Thats well and good but the final product is not the best choice for health minded people and once people start to read labels they will quit drinking it. This product is very close to a junk juice with small health benefit and is much less of a health drink that other similiar products.

I appreciate your time and look forward to your response. I have been in this game for a long time feel free to email if you have questions about this industry. I wish you much success!

Another thing you should look at is what the immuno stimulatory response is (how much it boosts your immune systems capability to respond to disease). I personally am currently tahing thai-go, tahitian noni, NSP Noni, and AAAAmbrotose AO for anti oxidants. I've had the best response from the AO which blends other micro-nutrients with the anti-oxidant to allow better absorbtion by the body. Thai-go has a higher Immunostimulatory Response. Bottom line is we are so sick as a society if you improve any one thing you will see great results. Don't limit yourself to antioxidants. Make sure you have Phto sterols and a good food matrix vitamin , as well as glyco nutrients in your body.

The whole Orac value pissing contest is getting pretty silly.

The thing everyone has to address with their product line, whether it be Xango, Noni, Goji, etc. is what is the Orac value PER SERVING?

It is irrelevant what the Orac value per ounce is. What is the value that you are actually ingesting?

The energy/antioxidant drink my company markets has an Orac value of 6,000 per serving! What's in YOUR drink? (Okay,..I stole that sound bite from Capital One)

Vitalagy by M2CGlobal has launched with 30 ml serving (32 total servings per bottle) and 3,200 ORAC per ounce.

Hi,

first of all. Nice blog. Here are some facts: The brother of the founder of Vemma has signed up with XanGo cause hte compensationplan was louzy of Vemma against of XanGo. Second the Orac of 1 ounce Vemma is about 3177 while the same amount (1ounce) XanGo has an Orac of 21000!! XanGo is in the top 5 of best MLM companies while it excits only since 2002. XanGo has numerous Awards received. One of them is THE BEST ENREPENEUR of Ernst & Young. XanGo is one fastest growing companies ever! Only Ebay is still the fastest who reached the one billion dollar goal! IN XanGo the whole mangosteenfuit is used while Vemma isn't saying what part is used. XanGo is a 100% natural supplement. XanGo was the first like Red Bull and will always marketleader!

Guys...if you want a great product with a really high ORAC value per serving.. the USANA TenX Blast. It was evaluated by Brunswick Labs to have a 16,320 ORAC value per serving, not per container. Now that is high... contact me for more info if needed.... or check it out at USANA.COM

I have been in Xango for about a year now, and my cholesterol is down 100 points. No, that isn't a claim that it will do this for anyone else, just that it did for me. Someone dropped by some Vemma stuff and I did some digging. It’s true that Vemma has more vitamins and such than Xango, because they add them to the mix. However, the BIG and very important difference is that Vemma does NOT use the whole fruit. By this I mean that they don’t use the flesh and the pericarp of the fruit. The pamphlet says it uses “whole fruit” but this is referring to the flesh of the fruit, because it then states it uses an extract of the pericarp. The mangosteen in Vemma is also reconstituted (dehydrated and then put in water), per its ingredient list. The xanthone claims of Vemma (more than 1,000% more mangostin xanthones than Xango) are twisted, at best. “Mangostin” is only ONE xanthone, and there are 40 in the mangosteen fruit. In addition, the pericarp contains a host of other phytonutrients: proanthocyanidins, catechins, sterols, polyphenols, flavanoids, and polysaccharides. An extract captures only a minute part of all of this. In contrast Xango doesn’t dehydrate the fruit and it doesn’t contain an extract. Instead, the fruit is frozen, shipped to the bottling company (Wild Flavors, which also produces Red Bull, Capri Sun, etc), and then ground up and put in the bottle. You can SEE the pulp at the bottom of the bottle! As an example, which would you rather have, a dehydrated slice of an orange, or a full, fresh orange? Xango was the first to introduce mangosteen to the market in the U.S.A. It has been wildly successful, and as a result other companies (including New Vision) have tried to copycat it. They water it down and add a bunch of other crap to it so they can twist the facts. Xango adds the other juices to cover the otherwise very bitter taste of the mangosteen's pericarp. Vemma’s compensation plan is almost identical to Xango’s. Funny coincidence, I guess.

Brian

You may want to do some research again, but Vemma does use the whole mangosteen fruit (pericarp included)with all the vitamns and 65 essential minerals on a daily basis. Now if you realize that minerals are essential for life. I just can't see myself paying $35 dollars a bottle for fruit juice.

I am a Vemma Dist. - That said, unlike many others (Vemma, xango etc.) I have seen way too much of the pissing contest. Here is a thought. Mangosteen is great stuff, use it - from anyone. Business issues - America is founded on competition - lets accept that and get along. There are many people that need our products - why is it necessary to mudsling each other - lets help others. That is why I got into it. If I make money as well - great.

Russ Stillwell

I like what David says.....just use whatever, and tell people about it.....claims can be made on both sides. The fact that a patent received by Xango...and a patent is simply a license for a lawsuit, was thrown out by the patent office when Xango sued their competitor should say volumes about Xango's credibility...
Bottom line, build your own business with the company that has the best product, best reputation, and best record for customer service, and you can't go wrong.

hi...there is a lot about mangosteen here...i was just wondering if any1 heard of acai? any thoughts

Rene Pana

Both of the products are good.

XanGo as the world's leader in Mangosteen Juice never put, mention or compare themselves with Vemma.

It's Vemma who has been comparing themselves to XanGo.
Just visit their website.

Why? Others try to compare themselves, Leader (XanGo) leads & succeeds!

Customers are the ULTIMATE decision makers.
XanGo sells many times more than Vemma or any other brands of mangosteen based products!

XanGo pays its distributors more. 50% of each actual wholesale value.. no playing games with numbers, or binaries etc.
Summary:
XanGo is the: Customers' choice, smart & ethical marketers' choice!

Lin

Having taken both products, my family prefers XanGo over Vemma in terms of taste, benefits and results!

Albert

As long as the juice is made by Mangosteen and is the good product which content Xanthones. And XanGo Juice is produced by Wild Flavor quality product. My customers having good testimonial by using the product, and I'm happy with the product and the compensation plan. Comparing product and Company is a never ending issue. I'm appreciated with XanGo with the best product, Company, Compensation Plan and Proven system for growing mu business In XanGo.

I like this site...Kinda biased, but to your credit, you are allowing comments for both sides.

We must always ask ourselves "How do I know that's true?"

This industry is full of hype.

How can we look for unbiased sources of info?

Ernie Garcia

Looks like Vemma is piggy back riding on Xango's success. How deceiving it is to say that vemma has 1000% more mangostin than xango's mangosteen. Mangostin is a whole lot different than mangosteen. Sounds to me like someone is desperate.

I am a health conscious independent VEMMA/VERVE distributor and I have been approached by different MLMs and their respective juice products since 1999. What concerns me is that we are doing ourselves and our customers a disservice by bashing one another's products and compensation plans.

I do not bash Xango, NONI, Golgi, Acai or any other juice product. If the product works, people will continue to buy it and use it; if it doesn't work then people will not continue to buy or use it. If you are getting the results you desire from whatever you are using, keep using it! It is time we live and let live because no single company will ever have 100% of the market.

All of you who are seasoned MLMers know for a fact that being on the ground floor is the ideal place to be in any network marketing opportunity.

If you believe in what you are doing and what you're representing, then it matters not what others think. At VEMMA all we ask is that prospective users try the product on a 30 day empty bottle or can (VERVE) money back guaranty. If you are not happy with the results, simply return the empty containers for a refund of your money.

If you're interested in find out more, please let me know in your comments>

Stay well!

There are lots of good products helping people out there - thats what our new juice is looking to do. Independent lab tests show our single fruit juice blend to have higher ORAC, FRAP and TEAC antioxidant scores than Acai, Mangosteen or Goji! Not bashing just informing. We are in pre-launch and about to go live October 3rd. Looking for people that want an opportunity. This juice product was formed by an already successful all-natural, whole food supplement company. It knows what it is doing and has taken its time to formulate something very powerful. I am looking for partners - check it out here. Single Fruit Juice blend - www.newjuice.biz

A couple of the folks who posted here have the right idea - There are many, many high antioxidant and nutrient-rich juices out there on the market. There is one that is the best, and there is one that is the worst. How will anyone know which those are for sure? Nobody probably ever will even if someone where to send every type of juice to Brunswick Labs for an ORAC testing of each, because antioxidants aren't 100% of what matters when choosing a juice.

The differences you should look at are the company, because a good product is only as good as the company behind it, along with the price you pay per ounce or per serving, the compensation plan, and maybe return policy/ customer service. Also, if you are a distributor for a juice company, don't fool yourself or anyone else, you're doing it for the money and possibly for the "side effect" of improving people's health, like myself. Simply pick any proven juice product as long as it's a good one, go with the company that will pay you the most for expanding and distributing, and make sure the company has a good strong financial foundation so you can be sure that once you start getting big checks, you will continue to do so for years to come. You don't want your company to get sued and go out of business because of it, as with the nutritional company I used to be with called ITV Ventures.

I chose Kyani, for pretty much every reason, but primarily because they are paying more than any other company I can find. They have lots of money and are using it to expand and try to become a billion dollar company in record time. If there is a company with a higher payout, I want to learn about it. I've seen other companies that claim they have the highest payout, but I still haven't found one as high as Kyani's.

Is Kyani's juice the best juice product? Based on days of research I believe it is definitely at least close to #1 or top 3, but who can say for sure? I don't know, all I know is that it has a Brunswick Labs tested ORAC of 34,997, tastes awesome, and has many testimonials of amazing health improvement, and that is good enough to make it worth $40 per 32 oz. Even if it was 1/2 as good as it is, the 2 other products and the compensation and bonuses they pay makes it worth it to stick with the company.

I can buy Mangosteen Gold, 100%, not reconstituted, with the pulp and skin at The vitamin Shoppe, 32 oz. for $20. What would encourage me to spend $40 for a bottle Mangosteen juice from a MLM?
I am not being sarcastic, this is an honest question.
