Losing the Lottery Mentality

Network Marketing is a a lot of fun. If it wasn't fun, I don't think there would be so many people building their way to success in the industry. However, I think network marketing or MLM companies do themselves and the people they attract a disservice.

Network Marketing companies love to talk about what you can achieve. There is no doubt there is some great things you can do in the industry BUT with their focus on big money and hyping the living daylights out of everything they offer they give the impression that its easy.

Folks, network marketing is fun and you can and will make money but the truth is it takes time, effort and a lot of work from the average person.

I recently addressed this topic in a recent blog post I did about the lottery mentality.

My goal isn't to discourage or steal anyone's thunder. When you sign up with a network marketing company, YTB included, you have a great opportunity to change your life but there is danger in thinking it will just happen suddenly.

Be willing to learn, plan for the future and keep pressing forward and you will see rewards.
