Sponsor 3 Who Sponsor 3

By popular demand, I am launching a new series of posts based on the Network Marketing income results when a person sponsors 3 people who sponsor 3 people and they all do $100 in volume.

We will show two companies at a time and then we will keep a running tab on the results at the bottom of each post.

I will show all of the math and the comments will be open for any questions, corrections and debate.

On with the show...

3 who sponsor 3 and each do $100

Quixtar with best Nutrilite Product:
$100 worth of Double X = 131 BV
12 x 131 BV = 1572
PV = 540 (6% Bracket)
1572 x 6% = $94.30
1572 / 3 legs = 524
524 x 3% = $15.72
$15.72 x 3 = $47.16 (pay out to 3 legs)
$94.30 - 47.16 = $47.14 Profit

Quixtar has a stairstep breakaway compensation plan.

Univera with Ageless Xtra 2-1 Combo
$100 = 76 PV
76 x 3 = 228 GV (Group Volume - Level 1)
Group Volume on Level 1 is paid at 15%
228 x 15% = $34.20
76 x 9 = 684 GV (Group Volume on Level 2)
684 x 10% = $68.40
$34.20 + $68.40 = $102.60 Profit

Univera has a hybrid unilevel plan plus daily pay and generational depth bonuses.

Blogging Las Vegas

Vivalasvegas I am leaving for Las Vegas in about 15 minutes for the annual convention. I have never been to a company sponsored Network Marketing event in my more than 10 years of MLM experience, so I am looking forward to this one.

We are staying at the Mirage and the convention is at the same location.

I will be bringing my laptop and plan on doing some blogging, Vegas style during the event.

5 New Diamonds in Oasis

There are 5 new Diamonds and 2 new Blue Diamonds in Oasis - Univera LifeSciences this month and none of the Diamonds had any Network Marketing industry experience before joining.

The myth is that everyone that joins Oasis brings a group (from another company) with them and that is simply not the case.

5 new Diamonds in July is a big deal as July is typically a down month for the industry. I am not going to make any bold predictions, but I will tell you that from September to December a lot more Diamonds will come out of Oasis, maybe even one from Federal Way, Washington.

Oasis - Univera LifeSciences and Serve First Month

Martin_luther_king_photo "Everybody can be great.  Because anybody can serve.  You don't have to have a college degree to serve.  You don't have to make your subject and your verb agree to serve.... You don't have to know the second theory of thermodynamics in physics to serve.  You only need a heart full of grace.  A soul generated by love."

~Martin Luther King, Jr.

I had the opportunity to participate in the Serve First ativity in my area at Left Foot Organic Farms earlier this month.

Left Foot Organics promotes the self-sufficiency, inclusion and independence of people with developmental disabilities in Thurston County by providing meaningful employment, training and related opportunities in the production and marketing of high quality, fresh, organic food.

Here is a clip from the Univera LifeSciences newletter:

Servefirst_2 Univera’s culture of Servant Leadership is clearly manifested in the belief that we can each make a difference in our community. This month—designated Serve First month—continues to be one of opportunity, and we are happy to report that service activities are taking place across many communities as people from all aspects of the Univera team step up to put belief into action.

Here’s one example:

Today, July 29th, the Moore organization in Michigan is making a difference at the Carriage Town Ministries in downtown Flint. Carriage Town Ministries, established in 1950, is a mission that provides “food, clothing, shelter, education, and direction” to the homeless in the mid-Michigan area. Starting at 10 a.m. this morning, the Moore team began their day helping out at the mission. Their tasks—which include organizing a storage barn and weeding the grounds, among other duties—no doubt kept them busy with plenty of hard work. However, the work will bring with it many rewards as well—not the least in knowing that sometimes we really can extend a hand to those whose hands are reaching out to others.

Oasis - Univera LifeSciences Announcement

Stuart Ochiltree has been named Chief Executive Officer of Univera LifeSciences™ effective today, July 25, 2006.

Bill Lee (ECONET Owner) made the announcement this morning to the staff at Univera West, thanking ECONET CEO and Vice Chairman Derek Hall for his many months of dedicated service and great success as acting CEO of Univera LifeSciences™.

We wish to welcome back Stuart as our CEO (as you will recall, he held that position until an illness in the family forced him to step down as CEO of Oasis).  Mr. Lee prefaced his announcement of Stuart’s role as CEO by explaining that he was one of three men who sat in a room together in Colorado one decade ago and dreamed of a company that would one day be the point of distribution for The ECONET; the three men were H.Y. Sung, Bill Lee and Stuart Ochiltree.

Mr. Lee went on to say that we are all excited that Derek will be now able to focus on the many challenges and opportunities facing The ECONET as we move forward with our plans of global expansion.

Both men exemplify the vision of YunHo Lee and his son, Bill, in making every endeavor to bring the best of nature to mankind in a manner conducive to the principles taught by YunHo Lee and believed widely throughout The ECONET today.

God's Sense of Humor

I think that God must sit back and belly-laugh every once in a while.

Last night I was at an Oasis meeting in a hotel. When our meeting got over, I went down the hall to use the facilities and noticed a sign on another conference room. The sign read,  "BWW".

Me_kumarBattle Royal? BWW Suits vs. Oasis Hawaiian Shirts?

I heard the name Gala and immediately thought of my buddy, and fellow wrestling fan, Imran. Imran would have gotten a kick out of the irony.

Toward the end of our meeting, the host asked people at various levels to stand up and I estimate that there were about a dozen people in that room making over $4,000 a month and another dozen making $1,000 to $4,000. The room held about 50 people and so I figured that roughly 50% of the room was making over $1,000 a month in Network Marketing.

Contrast those numbers with our BWW pals from across the hall and couple of things stick out to me.

1. In Quixtar more people attend meetings with fewer guests than Oasis.

2. In Oasis, serious people attend meetings and they bring guests. (I estimate about 30% of the people at Oasis meetings are guests)

3. Based on my experience in a Quixtar meeting of 50 IBOs, 2 might be earning $1,000 or more a month, (this is only an educated guess).

4. BWW people are insane when it comes to business dress. It was 85 degrees in Seattle and everyone at the BWW meeting was wearing a black suit and tie. Seattle is a pretty laid back city when it comes to business dress. Business casual is the norm unless you are an attorney or a Quixtar IBO.

The Artist Formerly Known as Oh A Sis

I am working with my mlm company to comply with some of their newer rules about publishing the name of the company. I replaced the name of the company with (the bio tech mlm company that I work with) throughout this blog.

As you might know, the company is a bit skittish about allowing people to publish information because they got slapped pretty good due to an independent associates Internet claims.

I was talking about this issue with my wife today and I explained that the company doesn't want people claiming that product "Z" cures cancer, because the FTC can hold the company liable. At that time, my eight year pipes up from the back seat, "Dad, product "Z" doesn't cure Cancer". I turned around and looked at her inquisitively and she continued, "It might help, but it won't cure cancer".

That's when I realized that my 8 year old can figure out when someone is making a false claim, but the FTC doesn't think you can.
