A New Season Of Changes

We are about enter into a new season with our home based business. This will include a move into a 3000 sq/ft. office/warehouse space about 3 minutes away from our home and the hiring of several employees. The plan at this point is still to work at home as much as possible, but time will tell.

I have been involved with four start ups in the past and I am not about to kid myself about the time it takes to lead and manage a group of employees. However, with the hiring of employees, I hope to free my wife and I up to do the things that we are better suited to do. I can say that I have been pleasantly surprised at how easy it has been to find people interested in coming to work for us.

This new office and warehouse space will also open up some new opportunities. One of them is a project I have been working on called Auction-U.com. The site is a blog that will focus on eBay selling. In conjuction with the new eBay auction blog, we are planning to offer free monthly "whiteboard sessions" on eBay selling. These sessions will take place in the loft of our new office/warehouse.
